Let me ask you this? Is your Facebook page a ghost town? What do I mean by that? How often are you posting on your Facebook page? Did you know, Facebook gives priority to those businesses/chiropractors who post every single day.

So in other words, if you’re not posting every single day, your potential new patients or clients are probably not going to find you on their search.

Also, have you realized that your potential patients/clients are snooping you. That’s right….I didn’t realize it, but now I know, we all do it. I do it. Facebook users are most likely to go to your Facebook page to check you out…that’s right….After aunt Bessie or the next door neighbor, or coworker recommended you, or even after they’ve done a Google Search for chiropractors, or hypnotherapists, they’re going to go straight to your Facebook Page and check you out.

Studies show that first they visit your website, next they go to your Facebook page!

 

What are they looking for? They’re forming a perception of you and your office. With social media perception is Everything! If they’re visiting your Facebook page and you haven’t posted anything for a week, 2 weeks, a month, 6 months….yikes….the perception is: You’re Not Busy, You’re Disorganized and You’re probably not very good…Ouch!

(Ghost Town?) – You heard about a new restaurant, you’ve driven by it for weeks now, your friends say, hey let’s try that new restaurant out. You think, yea sure….but first….you’re going to Google them, then you’re going to check out their Facebook Page to get an idea of what they’re all about, get their vibe, see who they are…..You find there’s nothing on their Facebook Page, they haven’t posted in 6 months….uh oh……you ask yourself, do I really want to eat there? Do they know what they’re doing? Maybe their going out of business…..

 

 

The same thing happens to you!

 

 

Do you also know, Facebook has become it’s own Search Engine! Yes….people who use Facebook will search for Chiropractors or Hypnosis in their area. Facebook gives priority to those businesses/chiropractors who post every single day.

In addition, when you post daily on your Facebook page, you also rank higher on Google! This is HUGE! A lot of my clients came from Google Search, my Facebook Page showed up on the first page because of my posting!

 

If you’re not posting every day, your competitor will rank higher and show up in the Facebook Search above YOU and on Google!

I’m not sharing all of this to stress you out, but help you understand why this is an area of your business you can’t ignore. Even if you don’t’ like Facebook.

• For those earning $75,000 or more, Facebook is the preferred social network. Only YouTube has higher reach in this group, at 83%. The next-most popular social site for this income category is LinkedIn, which reaches 49%.

• Facebook is also the most popular social network (besides YouTube) for college graduates, with 74% of them using the platform. LinkedIn again comes second with this group, at 51%.

• Nearly three-quarters of users can’t go a day without logging into Facebook. More than half (51%) log in several times per day. Only 9%of users log in less than once per week.

• Keep this in mind when thinking about how often to update your Facebook Page. Scheduling Facebook posts in advance can help you maintain a consistent sharing schedule with a good balance between promotional posts and relationship-building content.
